48 minutes into the match, A. Mannino came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. F. Mazzuoli increased Sounders's lead to 0 - 5 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. G. Cammarota received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 61 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The Sounders fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Sounders increased their lead after 78 minutes when G. Moscariello broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. Sounders enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 77 percent of possession.
