The crowd of 1833 turning up at Sette-Nani Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Making his way up the middle 11 minutes into the match, F. Liberatore almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert B. Pulik blocked it to keep the score level. R. Macinanti was, after 75 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper C. Maddii made the save. The referee showed Basaluzzese's A. Sozzi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, G. Taddia of Sette-Nani spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. O. Matticchio had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

A. De Fusco performed admirably for Sette-Nani. However, G. Taddia made a disastrous appearance. Basaluzzese's best player was S. Ortu. B. Pulik turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
