D. Zagari of Gordiani took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 24 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2.
It took several tries, but A.C.San managed to break through on the left after 31 minutes, getting the ball to
A. Matteini who easily reduced the lead to make the score 1 - 2.
After 33 minutes of play,
V. Scanzi equalised for A.C.San after an elegant attack from the right.
2 - 2 was the score after the first half.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
T. Bausola scored for A.C.San putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 47 minutes.
The referee showed Gordiani's
C. Pompole the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
R. Prandini of A.C.San had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.

A. Crosio made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner.
A.C.San's
A. Matteini increased the lead to 4 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 58 minutes.
After 68 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
M. Bananoia gave the A.C.San supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 5 - 2.
By now, the players in A.C.San felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
