capre 1 - 2 Sulcis (366795987)

The 4301 spectators at capre Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Per Östlund was the appointed referee with assistance provided by İrfan Toptan and Manuel Etxeberría. capre decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Saleppichi - Starace, Castriota, Scotti, Martignetti - Pascucci, Ginestra, Caltabiano, Rigolli - Spompato, Lamont.

Sulcis tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. They fielded: Dizdari - Monterisi, Moschini, Aspero, Liva - Ceccato, Di raimondo, Di Franco, Bandini - Bosinelli, Marciano.

capre broke through on the left 20 minutes into the game, with C. Lamont firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. G. Gabriele was called on to replace capre's C. Lamont after 27 minutes following a nasty collision. Sulcis almost scored after a swift counterattack 30 minutes into the game, but E. Aspero put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. With 35 minutes played, Sulcis's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to E. Moschini he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 1. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. capre enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

It wasn't a good day at all for R. Di raimondo. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. capre had a chance to take the lead after D. Scotti's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 80 minutes. Sulcis's R. Di raimondo managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 85 minutes. 1 - 2. After 88 minutes capre's R. Rigolli limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 89 minutes, G. Gabriele got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. 89 minutes into the match, M. Bosinelli came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by capre, with 57 percent of the ball.

Most important capre player was F. Pascucci. L. Castriota turned in a dismal performance, however. Sulcis's best player was M. Bosinelli. E. Moschini on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
