Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 44894 at
Športni park Dragomelj today.
Derek van der Stoop was the appointed referee.

Down the middle came
B. Descheiver, making a fantastic play that nearly had Gennaro take the lead after 7 minutes, but
T. Jereb preserved the tie.
After a fine move down the middle
B. Pucihar nearly gave the home side a goal after 15 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
With 16 minutes played,
A. Markwardt of Gennaro fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
Dragomelj broke through on the left 19 minutes into the game, with
S. Volovlek firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead.

Gennaro tied it all up, 74 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by
A. Degenaars, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2.
Gennaro's
W. Pisarczyk managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 75 minutes. 2 - 3.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Gennaro, with 61 percent of the ball.
Dragomelj's best player was
S. Volovlek.
B. Pucihar turned in a dismal performance, however.
A. Markwardt performed admirably for Gennaro.
On the other hand,
M. Issa's play was disheartening.
