11728 spectators arrived at FC-David.Peer Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Muhd bin Mohammed Noor was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Baldomero Fernández and Gregors Duburs. FC-David.Peer had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Log's R. Pahor after 4 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. 19 minutes into the game, Log were awarded a penalty and R. Griljc was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 2 rolling the ball in by the right post. The visitors' B. Kovačec took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 23 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Log. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 27 minutes, Log did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, B. Miholič was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Log lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Log increased their lead after 32 minutes when B. Kovačec broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Log, with 56 percent of the ball.

A drive down the left side allowed R. Griljc to get in close and score another goal for Log after 56 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6. A. Šterk of Log took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 58 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. Log claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

FC-David.Peer's top performer was clearly L. Novšak. L. Hrovatič was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Log player was without a doubt D. Črnčec. However, D. Gramc made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 7.
