He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 0, 13 minutes into the game. After 26 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and E. Kantner gave the Bled supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. The players of Bled now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 32 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as L. Kuželički broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Bled. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Bled's M. Grah increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Bled scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for E. Kantner after 41 minutes. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Bled, who controlled the ball 76 percent of the time.

A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Bled to 6 - 0 as T. Grilec finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Bled's A. Gojič increased the lead to 7 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 56 minutes. M. Grah could have increased the lead after 64 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. G. Babič didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. Usually a powerful player on the field, E. Kantner looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. Bled solidified their lead at the 80 minute mark, as A. Sikošek dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 8 - 0. Bled had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.

M. Mandić performed admirably for Bled. However, L. Kuželički made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating chero player was without a doubt M. Vršnak. D. Vaupotič was a disappointment, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
