32430 spectators had come to Savski this cloudy day. Ole Brockhusen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gaffar Ertaşgün and Reza Venneman. Savski used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. After 4 minutes Bezkintosi's I. Milić limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Against a lesser team, Bezkintosi could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 5 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Savski's K. Opdam had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 14 minutes having been played. H. Mirocha was the replacement. Making his way up the middle 22 minutes into the match, H. Mirocha almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert A. Carlsen blocked it to keep the score level. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Savski, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. Some great play up the middle by Savski led to a chance for H. Mirocha to score after 23 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. Bezkintosi's G. Podgornik managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 24 minutes. 0 - 1. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Bezkintosi had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

After 57 minutes of game time, R. Rivas Pérez had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but S. Džepina was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. I. Milić increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. After this, you could see that the players of Bezkintosi were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 85 minutes into the game a free kick by I. Milić found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Bezkintosi's lead 0 - 3. It was obvious that team Savski had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. H. Mirocha did everything he could to get one back for his Savski, but keeper A. Carlsen denied him with a spectacular block. Savski's G. Peigne was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 87 minutes. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, B. Obernöder got himself booked. The manager of Bezkintosi was not happy. V. Štrublić challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 89 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Bezkintosi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

Most important Savski player was P. Taraš. D. Doenselmann was a disappointment, however. Bezkintosi's top performer was clearly B. Obernöder. A. Carlsen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
