Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Neniel. osete created a good opportunity to score 12 minutes into the match when P. Bruch's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. M. Linder stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving Neniel the goal to make it 0 - 1. S. Garcia didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. The crowd chanted their encouragement as osete's P. Osete came in from the right after 27 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. 30 minutes into the game, Neniel wanted to bring some new energy to their game. H. Schallgruber-Horstmann gave S. Nastajus a quick hug as he left the field. A. Zanaboni slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. After 35 minutes, S. Garcia came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving osete the lead. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave F. Del Fiori from osete a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 37 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to osete, who controlled the ball 54 percent of the time.

A. Zanaboni's speed was almost enough to give osete a goal after 64 minutes, but his nice pass to P. Bruch was not taken care of properly. osete's F. Del Fiori had an excellent opportunity after 74 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! With 85 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Neniel resulted in a counterattack that set M. Nogueira free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. The bench was restless, and with 89 minutes passed Neniel's coach gave E. Galparsoro the opportunity the player had been hoping for. S. Nastajus reluctantly left the field. osete had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

osete's top performer was clearly S. Garcia. F. Alcaraz turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Neniel player was T. Formoso. E. Galparsoro was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
