The crowd of 37509 turning up at Estadi de LLevant today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. José Capelas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tobias Fransen and Franz Pauli-Pitschetsrieder. Torre had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Torre. The rain made it hard for players like B. Nesensohn to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. O. Muller had a good opportunity to give Mediadoro the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. A. Carlés finished off the counterattack of Torre from the left rather easily, making the score 1 - 0. 18 minutes in, Torre's F. Bastardes received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. With 57 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed O. Muller of Mediadoro to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. The players of Mediadoro now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from A. Rothenaichner after 65 minutes, and prevented Mediadoro from going up another goal. T. Davletov received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 71 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 4. The Mediadoro fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 73 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Torre's F. Bastardes received his second yellow card and was sent off. O. Vittadini of Mediadoro had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. G. Schäding came in to finish the match. After 75 minutes, Torre switched J. Salas with G. Bianchi, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The bench was restless, and with 75 minutes passed Torre's coach gave G. Pocha the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Carlés reluctantly left the field. With 75 minutes played, the Torre coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. R. Berrios came on, B. Nesensohn had to leave the fray. The Torre captaincy was handed to R. Berrios. Mediadoro's A. Rothenaichner got himself booked for a foul. Mediadoro enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

D. Biagioni performed admirably for Torre. F. de la Maza on the other hand, had a terrible day. Mediadoro's top performer was clearly E. Muhtar. S. Ipenza turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
