Tornado 8 - 0 cest (367345140)

Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Tornado Lucense Arena saw a crowd turnout of 40046. Stefan Bergby was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Aleser Hasan and Gustav Tillmar. Tornado tactics involved an interesting 5-5-0 combination. The following players had been chosen: Perdigão - Cotta, Ponce, Vaccari, Cohen, Rasmussen - Urbano, Gerradell, Apraiz, Collar, Schettino -.

cest started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. They fielded: Tasanen - Breton, Cânduleţ - Krzyżyk, Vaverka, Haselhofer, Dall'Asen, Antequera - Škrábik, Laakeristo, Gorbănescu.

Tornado saw most attack opportunities on the wings. As the 1 minute mark approached, the cest coach decided it was time for a substitution. S. Breton reluctantly made way for H. Tuğluk on the pitch. 1 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a cest substitution. S. Briansó came on for N. Cânduleţ. A. Cohen was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by R. Collar, but the ball bounced off the post to safety. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, J. Ponce scored for Tornado putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 13 minutes. After 16 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Schettino gave the Tornado supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Vaverka got himself booked. The manager of cest was not happy. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Tornado to 3 - 0 as J. Gerradell finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. By now, the players in Tornado felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Tornado managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when E. Rasmussen cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Tornado's R. Collar swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Tornado, who controlled the ball 91 percent of the time.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Tornado coach let R. Cárcamo replace F. Perdigão after 46 minutes. The referee showed Tornado's J. Apraiz the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 51 minutes played, Tornado put themselves up 5 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Schettino, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The score became 6 - 0 at 52 minutes into the game, when Tornado were given a penalty which J. Ponce blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Tornado's A. Cohen was shown a yellow card after 66 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Tornado increased the lead as M. Schettino struck to make the score 7 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for M. Schettino. After 72 minutes, R. Collar put Tornado ahead 8 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. Tornado's J. Apraiz had an excellent opportunity after 73 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! The coach of Tornado was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 88 minutes, R. Khotami came on for R. Cárcamo. R. Khotami left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 89 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. F. Toman was the replacement. Tornado claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 92 percent.

Most important Tornado player was R. Collar. F. Toman on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating cest player was without a doubt I. Gorbănescu. J. Tasanen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
