Berg Sørensen's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. After 39 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and S. Pereira Brandão gave the Espanitafp supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. Espanitafp's K. Zawiski saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 40 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Algeciras, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Algeciras's right side looked dangerous after 71 minutes, as V. Virués broke through. G. Viarani continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. W. Kattendüster squirmed through their central defence after 73 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 1. By now, the players in Espanitafp felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. A well-executed free kick by R. Berg Sørensen after 77 minutes made it 5 - 1 for Espanitafp. The visiting team's coach wasn't happy with S. Amils Pibernat after he missed an opportunity to reduce the score from the penalty spot 78 minutes into the match. Algeciras enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
