Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 24580 at Ca N´Oriach today. Laurent Veith was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Olav Reckenberg and Ramiro Ariel Garófalo. Coming in from the right, Cantimpalos had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 22 minutes, but J. Gamarra's attempt to finish was easily stopped. The referee showed Cantimpalos's A. Vea the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. C. Bernard's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Sanju, he bravely continued in the match. Sanju's J. Jonas was shown a yellow card after 39 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Cantimpalos almost scored after a counterattack 41 minutes into the match, but J. Sagreras took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Cantimpalos mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 44 minutes, but A. Vea was unable to convert from short range. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Sanju had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.

46 minutes into the match, the referee signalled for a Sanju substitution. J. Hechenbichler came on for J. Jonas. With 80 minutes played, J. Hechenbichler of Sanju fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 83 minutes, Sanju raised their score by one when H. Luyens's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by B. Svensson. 1 - 0. Sanju's F. Schällibaum put in a disappointing effort on a penalty after 85 minutes, firing just wide of the goal. 86 minutes in, Sanju's F. Schällibaum received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Sanju, with 83 percent of the ball.

B. Svensson performed admirably for Sanju. However, H. Luyens made a disastrous appearance. Cantimpalos's best player was F. Bueu. A. Novas was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
