(367379132)

10-03-2012 14.00
Clouds darkened the skies at
HUGO GARCIA Arena as 23936 spectators turned up for the match.
Romeo van Dortmont was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ruperto Cabral and
Ruud Schreurs.
YOGURINES started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
They fielded: Bennett - Martel, Ciulei, Cortijada - Skvirskiy, Robledo Villa, Castropol, Egebjerg, Companys - Elola, Ferriol.
TRAGO had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Tuğcu - Andersson, Cöllmer, Pletea - Curto Pelle, Carballo, Fernández Hinestrosa, Carreras, Škufca - Maindron, Bosch.
At 12 minutes played,
M. Ferriol came in from the right with the intention of giving YOGURINES the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
The referee showed TRAGO's
N. Pletea the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of YOGURINES, as
R. Cortijada left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
A. Schmuck took his place on the field.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, TRAGO's
A. Škufca somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
C. Maindron, who struck for 0 - 1.
36 minutes into the game,
A. Companys came close to levelling the score with a dangerous shot from the centre of the area that went just over the bar.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Bosch from TRAGO a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 37 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
0 - 1 was the halftime score.
YOGURINES enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
After a short break after 70 minutes, TRAGO seemed to change their tactical approach a bit.
The TRAGO coach was visibly pleased with the score so far, but still ordered a few tactical changes 80 minutes into the game.
Possession in this half belonged to YOGURINES, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
YOGURINES's best player was
P. Robledo Villa.
A. Schmuck turned in a dismal performance, however.
Most important TRAGO player was
C. Maindron.
A. Škufca on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 1.
