With the clock showing 42 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of J.Salinas resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by E. Gabella in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Lugea, with 74 percent of the ball.

A. Burgo Díaz was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Lugea's A. Dokali managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 1 - 1 R. Ruiz looked great 68 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' E. Gabella. Making his way up the middle 76 minutes into the match, F. Torres Campo almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert G. Tubeuf blocked it to keep the score level. J.Salinas almost scored after a counterattack 82 minutes into the match, but P. Roldán Rendon took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Lugea claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

Lugea's top performer was clearly N. Rodríguez. E. Gallones turned in a dismal performance, however. J.Salinas's best player was E. Alface. P. Sá was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
