Dark skies made the crowd of 39759 at Municipal de Prullans a little nervous, but the rain held off. Segovia's shot skimmed just wide. W. Dernbke was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from LUC's defence 9 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 0 - 1. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Drinkteam's P. Bonadona somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for S. Quintana, who struck for 1 - 1. With 32 minutes played, L. Galante of Drinkteam fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Drinkteam created a good opportunity to score 33 minutes into the match when I. Segovia's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. After 34 minutes, H. Costa came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Drinkteam the lead. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Drinkteam enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

S. Quintana increased the lead for Drinkteam to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! LUC certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but A. Salamanca just wasn't able to finish. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Drinkteam scored another to make it 4 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Moncada after 56 minutes. Drinkteam put in a good effort on the right, but G. Figueras saw his volley fly wide of the mark 63 minutes into the game. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 64 minutes, Drinkteam did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, J. Moncada was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 5 - 1. Confident in their lead, Drinkteam's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Drinkteam had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating Drinkteam player was without a doubt G. Burkhart Pérez. P. Bonadona turned in a dismal performance, however. LUC's best player was W. Dernbke. On the other hand, D. Español's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
