caballeros decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Türedi - Kanstrup, Buganim, Saarniala - Molisso, Roemer, Ahlgren, Vilallonga, Yüce - Brugnaro, Mão de Ferro.
Villanus tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Gerradell - Jakoblin, Domene, Fres Jaramillo, Montero Escobar - Arpoador, Gomez, Ochoa Casado, Šaučiūnas - Judasz, Borda.
Villanus displayed their ability to play creatively.

J. Ahlgren an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 0.
J. Kanstrup increased the lead for caballeros to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
J. Ahlgren of caballeros was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
caballeros's
M. Molisso struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 0 after 36 minutes.

A. Šaučiūnas limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
Given a free kick in a difficult position after 63 minutes, caballeros tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish.
Maybe due to the uphill battle the team was facing, the Villanus manager looked to change things around. After 75 minutes,
A. Šaučiūnas and
J. Fres Jaramillo swapped positions on the field.
With things not going too well on the field, the Villanus coach made the decision to swap the positions of
H. Arpoador and
D. Jakoblin with 75 minutes played.
The bench was restless, and with 76 minutes passed Villanus's coach gave
R. De León the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
N. Ochoa Casado reluctantly left the field.
The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 2, as
J. Domene struck home, set up well by a play on the left 78 minutes into the match.

J. Domene was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 81 minutes.
R. Soler was given a chance to change things around.
After 83 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
J. Kanstrup might have resulted in another goal for caballeros. However,
N. Gerradell made a spectacular save.

caballeros's top performer was clearly
J. Roemer.
