A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 36646 to Black Hell. Francesco Picasso was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Chulu Firosh and Kjetil Roald. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Dynamo. Dynamo were able to draw a foul with their counterattacks, but the shot from D. Slager went into the arms of the keeper. After 7 minutes, Spirit sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Y. Postel, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 0. Spirit's I. Mitran had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 16 minutes having been played. G. Mateos was the replacement. G. Zanon's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Dynamo mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 40 minutes, but F. Estruch was unable to convert from short range. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Spirit enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.

With 48 minutes gone, Spirit had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, G. Kızkaçıran did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. With their counter attack move halted 49 minutes into the game, Dynamo were left with a free kick. The ball is passed straight through to the other end of the penalty area, with hopes for it to reach I. Bencs. However, he didn't have his wits about him and the ball went out. Spirit's A. Raggio lived up to his reputation for finding unexpected ways to get the ball in the net when he sent a nifty little pass over to D. Gamin who finished for 2 - 0 with 58 minutes of the match played. B. Brajović struck a 30 metre free kick home 60 minutes into the match. 3 - 0 for the home team. The referee showed Dynamo's I. Bencs the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Unfortunately for Spirit, E. Canalejas was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. J. Denner replaced him. 82 minutes into the game, P. Caiazza had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came T. Mazzoleni. The heat made it a terrible day for A. Mihov, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players. Dynamo fought on and, after 84 minutes, A. Savagnone was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 1 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. S. Falera always provides an aerial threat at corners, and with 85 minutes gone, he demonstrated this, outjumping his marker, then letting out an anguished howl as his powerful header went narrowly wide. The intense heat forced J. Denner into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. After 87 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Spirit was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Spirit, with 69 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Spirit player was without a doubt D. Gamin. J. Denner was a disappointment, however. Most important Dynamo player was S. Falera. On the other hand, A. Savagnone's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
