tano clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After 13 minutes, tano put themselves up 0 - 1, as A. Aceijas finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 15 minutes into the match, an alert V. Achilli bagged the ball for galactics, levelling the score to 1 - 1. After 17 minutes, tano sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached A. Aceijas, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 2. galactics's V. Achilli put his head to a high ball coming in from the right after 18 minutes, but the ball went wide. 22 minutes into the game, H. Hemetsberger had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came D. Mihov. 1 - 2 was the score after the first half. galactics enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

The crowd was on its feet 51 minutes into the match, as galactics's D. Mihov found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 2 - 2 equaliser. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. O'Connor from tano a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 54 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! In a fantastic display of determination, galactics's A. Escuder forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. tano's M. Somalo Portero gave the visitors a 2 - 3 lead after 60 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After 65 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave F. Damiani a chance to increase the lead for tano, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 4. When A. O'Connor made yet another studs-first tackle after 76 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the tano player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. galactics's T. Pequeño refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 79 minutes. It was obvious that team tano had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. 81 minutes into the match, M. Somalo Portero came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. galactics claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
