Soley came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Seguantí the lead. After 29 minutes, Seguantí's A. Sinkiewicz swiftly ran past A. Fontes and nutmegged the keeper! 2 - 0. In a rapid move 38 minutes into the match, A. Sinkiewicz of Seguantí lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked S. Gilbert who easily hit it home to make it 3 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Given a free kick in a difficult position after 40 minutes, Seguantí tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. After 41 minutes Los Mataos tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, K. Bänsch's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. 3 - 0 was the halftime score. Seguantí claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Seguantí's A. Sinkiewicz struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 47 minutes. The players of Seguantí now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Seguantí were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 50 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by A. Sinkiewicz. 5 - 0 for the home side. This third goal completed a hattrick for A. Sinkiewicz. Los Mataos's counterattacks created a good chance for B. Nguyen on the right after 64 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. The coach of Seguantí was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, C. Orozco Martel came on for G. Scatozza. D. Corvite left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. C. Jimilio was the replacement. S. Gilbert wanted to play on, but the Seguantí coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 80 minutes into the game by O. Carbonnel. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Seguantí, with 59 percent of the ball.

Seguantí's best player was A. Sinkiewicz. J. Coscarate was a disappointment, however. S. Diaz de Valdes performed admirably for Los Mataos. C. Rigual on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
