Huici's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. C. Waterman would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. M. Sejersbøl entered the game for XERMAÑA as the match clock showed 54 minutes. montgat's Y. Kessler tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 74 minutes in, XERMAÑA's G. Huici received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Usually a powerful player on the field, J. Martin looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. montgat had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. As the 80 minute mark approached, the XERMAÑA coach decided it was time for a substitution. G. Huici reluctantly made way for B. Bronzov on the pitch. F. Estacasolos wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. XERMAÑA's M. Sejersbøl left the field after 87 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was S. Menuet. After a fine move down the middle R. Cerjo nearly gave the home side a goal after 89 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. After 89 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to montgat's J. Coche being carried off the pitch and replaced by J. Soler. montgat enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
