The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 20125 had shown up at M L I Internacional for the match. F.C.O.P. mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. McDaniel could have put themselves ahead after 8 minutes but K. Bonilla missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 13 minutes into the game, McDaniel seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. McDaniel fans held their breath as K. Bonilla scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! F.C.O.P.'s right side looked dangerous 19 minutes in, but J. Isequilla made a good save on A. Carpignoli's hard shot to the top corner. 34 minutes into the game, McDaniel seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. McDaniel's Q. Yousef had an excellent opportunity after 35 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! A cross coming in on the right hand side left J. Burgo alone in front of the goal after 36 minutes but his shot was woeful. Halftime score was 1 - 0. F.C.O.P. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

During the break, McDaniel's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. McDaniel's H. Caramez swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. A. Conroth unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 62 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when A. Durand tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. Cheers filled the stadium as Q. Yousef broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to McDaniel. At this point, it was obvious that the players of McDaniel lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, F.C.O.P.'s N. Dijk was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes. J. Coll was given a chance to change things around. 83 minutes into the game, McDaniel had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to poor. McDaniel had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Most important McDaniel player was H. Kleber. E. Stanfield was a disappointment, however. The most dominating F.C.O.P. player was without a doubt A. Durand. I. Valencia Junco on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.
