Spustek couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing K. Baggesen to come in off the bench. As usual, S. Parisod tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave J. Montes from Palafrugell a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! J. Muñoz of Engardaixinas had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. F. Monteleone came in to finish the match. Engardaixinas claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

J. Montes performed admirably for Palafrugell. J. Montes turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Engardaixinas player was without a doubt M. van de Loo. S. Bettencourt was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
