Orrit was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave V. Kounntouris from Ramirez a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 38 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! TrinitatVella's counterattacks created a good chance for S. Girod on the right after 44 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. There was concern in the stands when, at the 44 minute mark, Ramirez's T. Florea was shown a yellow card after 89 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The player down was F. Rigotti. The TrinitatVella bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up.
