Clear skies welcomed the 12000 spectators who had made their way to Independència. Eric Grotte was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cezary Bajon and Andreas Tünkenhagen. D. Ripoll made a quick rush after 2 minutes, but O. Gamundí had no problems keeping up the pace and stopped the attack. 3 minutes in, the referee awarded Independència a penalty. S. Schnebli coolly slotted it home for a 1 - 0 lead. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave P. Badea from Independència a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 5 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! S. Schnebli increased Independència's lead to 2 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. D. Ripoll squirmed through their central defence after 24 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Independència scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for S. Schnebli after 30 minutes. By then S. Schnebli had scored three goals - a hat trick! Independència's 俞. 恒民 (Hengdi) was shown a yellow card after 31 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Guadalcacin, as A. Belizón left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. J. Pérez de Cuevas took his place on the field. 33 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as P. Badea broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Independència. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Independència lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. Independència claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 86 percent.

The Independència free kick 52 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of B. The score became 7 - 0 at 72 minutes into the game, when Independència were given a penalty which S. Schnebli blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Cheers filled the stadium as P. Badea broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 8 - 0 to Independència. C. Pajarel increased the lead for Independència to 9 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Possession in this half belonged to Independència, who controlled the ball 89 percent of the time.

Most important Independència player was D. Semprún. 俞. 恒民 (Hengdi) was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Guadalcacin player was without a doubt J. Pérez de Cuevas. On the other hand, F. Orgeira's play was disheartening. The match ends 9 - 0.
