The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 7496 had shown up at
Santiago Bernabeu for the match.
Fabio Ginelli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

At this point, it was obvious that the players of Madrid lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
J. Estensoro was called on to replace zeben's
S. Ghioaldă after 24 minutes following a nasty collision.
Madrid's
C. Dărăban increased the lead to 4 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 29 minutes.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
M. Gagliardi squirmed through their central defence after 30 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0.
Madrid's
M. Gagliardi left the field after 34 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
D. Txasko.

Cheers filled the stadium as
S. Lino broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 6 - 0 to Madrid.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as Madrid scored another to make it 8 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for

P. Zych contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game.
Madrid managed to extend their lead to 9 - 0 when
S. Lino cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.

C. Dărăban turned in a dismal performance, however.
zeben's top performer was clearly

F. Plana on the other hand, had a terrible day.
