2188 fans braved the pouring rain at ReaLes2 Arena. Egon Burger was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Daniel Alexander Ilmig and Francisco Aceiton. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Andalucía derby and the crowd was divided evenly. ReaLes2 started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. With 9 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, P. Beis needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. E. Martínez of Aramaio displayed some of his fantastic technical abilities when he brought the ball down neatly using his instep before nutmegging the bewildered G. Delaportella and smashing an unstoppable shot past the goalkeeper to make it 0 - 1. No matter how hard he tried, C. Torres Arroyo just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 16 minutes. The referee showed Aramaio's E. Pera Madrazo the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 25 minutes, Aramaio's C. González Campillo burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. ReaLes2 reduced the lead to 1 - 2 with 29 minutes on the clock when J. Guasch got the best of a ball floated in from the left. After 31 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave N. Revilla a chance to increase the lead for Aramaio, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 3. The home crowd were delighted when 李. 偌山 (Ruoshan) scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 2 - 3. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, F. de Berceo got himself booked. The manager of ReaLes2 was not happy. Aramaio's N. Revilla made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 42 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 43 minutes into the match, an alert R. Valdemoro bagged the ball for ReaLes2, levelling the score to 3 - 3. 3 - 3 was the score after the first half. ReaLes2 had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

After 52 minutes, R. Valdemoro came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 4 - 3, giving ReaLes2 the lead. Cheers filled the stadium as G. Delaportella broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 3 to ReaLes2. 77 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Delaportella broke through, making the score 6 - 3 for ReaLes2. C. Torres Arroyo increased the lead for ReaLes2 to 7 - 3, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! G. Delaportella struck a 30 metre free kick home 83 minutes into the match. 8 - 3 for the home team. That made three goals for G. Delaportella and he was marked down for the hat trick. Confident in their lead, ReaLes2's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ReaLes2, with 72 percent of the ball.

G. Cagide performed admirably for ReaLes2. On the other hand, M. Gurria's play was disheartening. Aramaio's top performer was clearly J. Riutort. F. Beneyto was a disappointment, however. The match ends 8 - 3.
