Iturrioz nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. V. Chan rose like a salmon, and was very close to scoring with a header after a corner, but sent the ball just over the bar. J. Reyes was, after 27 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper R. Ubao made the save. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile S. Dolin. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cod, with 72 percent of the ball.

Against a lesser team, Cod could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 61 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. 66 minutes in, Cod's A. Mobile received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. After 75 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave H. Bülk a chance to increase the lead for Cod, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. The visitors added to their lead 76 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Cod's S. Dolin slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of Cod were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Cod's A. Mobile made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 81 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Possession in this half belonged to Cod, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

D. Horta performed admirably for dzkoner. R. Ubao was a disappointment, however. Cod's top performer was clearly N. Skals. J. Mazcuñán turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
