Piñero came close to levelling the score 25 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 34 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but M. Pacheco got the best of it, blocking the shot from M. Lería. Against a lesser team, CM14 could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 35 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. L. Frances of CM14 received a yellow card after 36 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. penya-rokes's M. Lería refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 40 minutes. E. Cabarrús made a run for the goal 42 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. The home crowd was dismayed when the referee called a penalty for penya-rokes after 43 minutes. E. Cabarrús calmly took the shot and scored. The game was level at 1 - 1. Halftime score was 1 - 1. penya-rokes enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

After a fine move down the middle F. Albelda nearly gave the home side a goal after 70 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. M. Pacheco looked great 77 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' L. Mansilla. L. Mansilla's lightning pace was too much for A. Pérez de Ayala who could only look on as the penya-rokes player blasted one home. 1 - 2. penya-rokes claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

M. Busom performed admirably for CM14. On the other hand, P. Meira's play was disheartening. penya-rokes's top performer was clearly J. Buron Cuadrado. H. Fontelles was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
