The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 51341 had shown up at Last close door for the match. Amadeus Mbemba was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Erik Margelski and Koert Oude Middendorp. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Dammen.sk.. C. Sánchez looked great 5 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' S. Trust. Nidaros's I. Medarov was shown a yellow card after 12 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 17 minutes into the game, D. Borre had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. Dammen.sk. took the lead 22 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as A. Boutonnet elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. A cross coming in on the right hand side left A. Santoriello alone in front of the goal after 34 minutes but his shot was woeful. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Dammen.sk., who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

C. Sánchez's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from S. Wildpert's shot from the left 49 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Dammen.sk. sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached B. Engebakken, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0. S. Wildpert of Nidaros received a yellow card after 69 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 70 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as J. Cleveringa broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Dammen.sk.. With 77 minutes played, Dammen.sk. put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to G. Lagaert, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Dammen.sk. claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

The most dominating Dammen.sk. player was without a doubt J. Stoppelman. A. Garostidi was a disappointment, however. Nidaros's top performer was clearly S. Wildpert. S. Trust turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
