Good work by the Rana defensive line after 29 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found G. Presciuttini alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Rana, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

T. Schermer left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 55 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Meller was the replacement. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Rana to 3 - 0 as K. Winthle finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 70 minutes, the defensive line of Rana created a counterattack through the middle that gave L. Andersen a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. M. Haranguş could have increased the lead after 73 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Coming from the right, L. Andersen almost managed to score another goal for Rana, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. The crowd roared its approval when M. Olmos somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Manutd's J. Germain 76 minutes into the game. Rana's B. Aslak had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 77 minutes having been played. G. Dahl was the replacement. Rana had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

The most dominating Rana player was without a doubt L. Kirck. On the other hand, G. Dahl's play was disheartening. Most important Manutd player was C. Hovland. However, S. Suecia made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
