26-05-2012 15.30
39700 spectators had come to
Szaladás Erőd this cloudy day.
Alberto Caballero was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Umberto Bucci and
Kris Bergholt.
Zsiványok decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Gubán - Potya, Belánszky, Szinetár - Šapina, Pavlik, Gedó, Hende, Šimičević - Boday, Harnócz.
Bonera25 tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Zsámár - Smoktunowicz, Densi, Novellasdemunt - Figzał, Carrillo, Voordeckers, Taipalus, Süli - Bohus, Biró.
Zsiványok seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
The wings were the focus of most of Bonera25's attacks today.
I. Süli made a nice dash down the wing after 6 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded.
Many thought
Z. Pavlik ought to have been awarded a penalty 23 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around
T. Zsámár after a determined run through the middle.
A well placed corner kick from
A. Boday was followed by
T. Šimičević's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Zsiványok, the score now 1 - 0.
Zsiványok solidified their lead at the 33 minute mark, as
Z. Pavlik dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0.
The crowd roared its approval when
V. Gubán somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Bonera25's
A. Voordeckers 34 minutes into the game.
A. Harnócz neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to
I. Szinetár who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post.
Cheers filled the stadium as
M. Belánszky broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Zsiványok.
Z. Smoktunowicz of Bonera25 received a yellow card after 40 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
41 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
A. Harnócz broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Zsiványok.
It was 4 - 0 at the break.
Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.
I. Szinetár could have increased the lead after 49 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Zsiványok scored another to make it 5 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
Z. Pavlik after 52 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of Zsiványok were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
With 75 minutes played, the Bonera25 coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
R. Megyeri came on,
M. Densi had to leave the fray.
Zsiványok players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
After 79 minutes Zsiványok's
B. Gedó limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.
Zsiványok's best player was
A. Boday.
On the other hand,
T. Šimičević's play was disheartening.
Bonera25's top performer was clearly
A. Voordeckers.
R. Megyeri turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 0.
