Pöttencs 2 - 4 Dobre
(368505999)

03-03-2012 15.30
Clear skies welcomed the 12000 spectators who had made their way to
Muhaha.
Ioan Albu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vicente Ramos and
Peter Lundhholt.
Pöttencs started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
Starters: Di Dio - Otermin, Pineda, Engelmann, Judik - Kodolányi, Easter, Hamvas, Gombkötő - Fodor, Leblond.
Dobre decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Maccioni - Bruno, Meta, Golding - Gobbi, Rezső, Pilsgaard, González, Hogać - Roeder, Zehre.
Dobre seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
M. Hervoly was called on to replace Pöttencs's
E. Kodolányi after 12 minutes following a nasty collision.
G. Di Dio looked great 14 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'
O. Zehre.
This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
F. Roeder slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
G. Di Dio, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
Pöttencs bypassed the midfield with their counterattack, leading to a free kick goal by
G. Pineda for 1 - 0.
M. Rezső of Dobre received a yellow card after 40 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Halftime score was 1 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dobre, with 70 percent of the ball.
A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
J. Leblond. At last, Pöttencs's
Á. Hamvas was able to backheel the ball in. 2 - 0.
The visitors' right side was dangerous today;
R. Pilsgaard made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 2 - 1 66 minutes into the match.
Dobre tied it all up, 69 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by
C. Gobbi, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2.
Pöttencs had to make a substitution after 73 minutes.
M. Judik limped off the field and was replaced by
I. Schindler.
Given a free kick close to the byline, Dobre tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let
K. Golding slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 3, 74 minutes into the game.
With 77 minutes played,
J. Gombkötő of Pöttencs fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
A drive down the left side allowed
J. Bruno to get in close and score another goal for Dobre after 80 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 4.
Dobre players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
The home crowd cheered when, after 85 minutes,
K. Golding's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day.
Dobre had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.
B. Easter performed admirably for Pöttencs.
On the other hand,
M. Hervoly's play was disheartening.
The most dominating Dobre player was without a doubt
O. González.
However,
J. Bruno made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 2 - 4.
