Apáca 6 - 0 mókus (368532137)

A scorching day at Apáca Fc Arena :D, where 31715 spectators were in place for today's match. Irinel Tutunaru was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ulus Ünlem and Hadrian Brinkhoff. Apáca started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Peikert - Ádám, Legrand, Chaparro - Örnskog, Zerbo, Zimperliesl, Delaunay - Valckenborgh, Stefanou, Piesala.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for mókus. Lineup: Fallahi - Novati, Choon Guang, Pólis - ten Hoove, Sindilă, Eiberles, Zsivótzky, Kánya - Gulyás, Grimbovskis.

Apáca seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. With 5 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as M. Piesala flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. Apáca's M. Piesala increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 20 minutes. Apáca managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when O. Delaunay cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Apáca to 4 - 0 as H. Zimperliesl finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. With 37 minutes played, M. Piesala could have brought this one home for Apáca as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. Apáca enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Although the whole team were struggling to impress, mókus's R. Zsivótzky was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. S. Taccone was given a chance to change things around. 53 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as H. Zimperliesl broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Apáca. Confident in their lead, Apáca's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Apáca's D. Stefanou saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 77 minutes. Apáca's G. Zerbo was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 81 minutes. With 84 minutes played, Apáca put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to G. Zerbo, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Coming from the right, J. Valckenborgh almost managed to score another goal for Apáca, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Apáca, with 60 percent of the ball.

Apáca's top performer was clearly D. Stefanou. V. Chaparro was a disappointment, however. B. Sindilă performed admirably for mókus. S. Fallahi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
