The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 22746 had shown up at Fortuna Neuwerk Arena for the match. A review of the gameplan helped Fortuna get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 62 minutes into the game, Fortuna seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. Fortuna almost scored after a swift counterattack 64 minutes into the game, but H. Nied put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. R. Ährenfeld left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Juršić was the replacement. J. Koltes received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Ballerheim fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Ballerheim had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The most dominating Fortuna player was without a doubt C. Siclari. However, H. Nied made a disastrous appearance. Ballerheim's top performer was clearly T. Ruhstorfer. R. Krauß was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
