Schwalben 3 - 1 Tschudde
(368918680)

17-03-2012 18.15
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 20079 to
Bolzplatz Kladow.
Johan Tornlund was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Wolf Schier and
Przemysław Szews.
Schwalben tactics involved an interesting 2-4-3 combination.
They fielded: Woehnl - Piksa, Brejcha-Gschöpf - Stampfer, Zucchetta, Aygün, Vejmělek - Majgier, Billerbeck, Eichelberger.
Tschudde started off with a 4-3-3 lineup.
Starters: Gándara - Reppichau, Kamchen, Seiwald, Prähofer - Skorek, Volger, Duchavičius - Puche Grandes, Peräläinen, Matos.
With 7 minutes played
S. Billerbeck almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide.
They were singing the praises of
F. Vejmělek 9 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Schwalben.
Schwalben managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
R. Majgier cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The players of Schwalben now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
26 minutes in, Schwalben appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
A bit later, Tschudde's
J. Skorek easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence.
36 minutes into the game, Schwalben seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
poor.
P. Stampfer increased the lead for Schwalben to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
3 - 1 was the halftime score.
Schwalben claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
During the break, Schwalben's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
passable organisation.
After 61 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
K. Piksa might have resulted in another goal for Schwalben. However,
E. Gándara made a spectacular save.
Schwalben's
S. Zucchetta was shown a yellow card after 79 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
80 minutes into the game, Schwalben seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
passable level of organisation.
After 81 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Schwalben found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
J. Woehnl made a brilliant save 84 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from
T. Reppichau on the right hand side.
Possession in this half belonged to Schwalben, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.
The most dominating Schwalben player was without a doubt
S. Aygün.
S. Zucchetta was a disappointment, however.
H. Peräläinen performed admirably for Tschudde.
K. Duchavičius turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
