23750 spectators arrived at Böger Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Béla Szeles was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Aldo Mancinelli and Arvid Andersson. Eulenspiegel, but the Böger player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! Böger solidified their lead at the 17 minute mark, as A. Dettmer dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. The home side's C. Bargiacchi came close to extending the lead 27 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but M. Camargo managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Böger enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

Böger put themselves up 3 - 0 when C. Bargiacchi broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. With 55 minutes played, G. Gruschi of Böger fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. A great save by keeper M. Camargo after 63 minutes kept the visitors in the game after A. Dettmer struck from the left with a real cannonball. 66 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as A. Dettmer broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Böger. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. B. Nesse squirmed through their central defence after 73 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 0. Confident in their lead, Böger's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Böger had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

The most dominating Böger player was without a doubt B. Nesse. On the other hand, C. Bargiacchi's play was disheartening. A. Estarriol performed admirably for Kickers. A. Cacà turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
