Saurma swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. When G. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Brasselsberg scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for B. Ganzel after 57 minutes. Coming from the right, Š. Maceček almost managed to score another goal for Brasselsberg, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. L. Brätz was caught napping as A. von Buddenbrock lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. A free kick just outside of the visitors' penalty area after 81 minutes could have resulted in another goal, but L. Brätz got a hand out and tipped the ball over the bar.
