Players in Wiesdorfer heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Wiesdorfer's A. Yunibarbia gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 30 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Wiesdorfer's U. Bettinger was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 34 minutes. Kadaver's H. Köhn made an attempt at equalising 39 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Kadaver, but L. Guisbo's shot went over the bar. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. Kadaver had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

Kadaver's H. Schleifenlehner almost tied things up with 47 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. G. Lichtenfels of Wiesdorfer received a yellow card after 55 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. The crowd chanted their encouragement as Kadaver's H. Duchon came in from the right after 61 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 2 - 2. Kadaver fans held their breath as H. Köhn scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 3 - 2! 68 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as H. Duchon broke through, making the score 4 - 2 for Kadaver. After this, you could see that the players of Kadaver were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Kadaver enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

The most dominating Kadaver player was without a doubt T. Schönmetz. N. von Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Wiesdorfer player was A. Yunibarbia. On the other hand, H. Remta's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 2.
