Cazzupizzu were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. With 16 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, T. Wolfger needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. T. Wolfger of Cazzupizzu was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. As the 35 minute mark approached, the Cazzupizzu coach decided it was time for a substitution. A. Hursti reluctantly made way for C. Szeiler on the pitch. After 39 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Cazzupizzu found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. Cazzupizzu almost scored after a counterattack 41 minutes into the match, but V. Jelnikar took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. After 42 minutes Cazzupizzu's T. Wolfger had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony. M. van Anraat came in to replace him. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Arachnoidea, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

A review of the gameplan helped Cazzupizzu get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 60 minutes into the game, Cazzupizzu wanted to bring some new energy to their game. M. Tóth gave S. Borner a quick hug as he left the field. 69 minutes into the match, Arachnoidea nearly took the lead, as T. Fukuda broke through on the right. S. Borner made the save, however. Arachnoidea were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 85 minutes into the match, but A. Benedetto narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul. After 86 minutes Arachnoidea's B. Carlacchiani limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 87 minutes into the game, Cazzupizzu seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. Arachnoidea's A. Benedetto gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 88 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After 88 minutes Arachnoidea's A. Benedetto contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. 89 minutes in, Cazzupizzu appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. The home crowd was not impressed when T. Fukuda came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 89 minutes. Arachnoidea were now up 0 - 2. Arachnoidea claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

Cazzupizzu's best player was D. Michel. M. van Anraat on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Arachnoidea player was B. Van de Weerdhof. A. Benedetto was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
