Lorestani might have resulted in another goal for FCY. However, M. Forssjö made a spectacular save. Reutenen fought on and, after 69 minutes, A. Hervieux was able to reduce the deficit to 3 - 2 after some excellent moves on the right side were finished off with an incredibly clever chip. The visitors' F. Hammerseth was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 3 - 3 after 74 minutes. The coach of Reutenen wanted to try to change things around after 75 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions. A. Hervieux would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. T. Moore entered the game for Reutenen as the match clock showed 76 minutes. A. Eugui became the new Reutenen captain. Reutenen's T. Moore could have put the guests one up after 77 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but J. Baltbarzdis was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
