FCA clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Klamm, but the FCA player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FCA's A. Klamm increasing the lead to 2 - 0. Totto reduced the lead after 18 minutes to 2 - 1 as C. Medeot easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. FCA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

The visitors' D. Purice was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 2 - 2 after 54 minutes. J. Viault sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from O. Barkov after 69 minutes of play, making the score 2 - 3. The Totto players could smell victory in the air. C. Medeot wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for C. Gick after 75 minutes. Totto had to make a substitution after 82 minutes. D. Purice limped off the field and was replaced by M. Moreau. After 83 minutes, F. Stadsholt made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 3 - 3. 86 minutes into the game, L. Rongen almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 87 minutes in, Totto's J. Viault received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. L. Rigozzi of FCA had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. H. Engurs came in to finish the match. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Bille from FCA a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 89 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Possession in this half belonged to FCA, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

FCA's top performer was clearly B. Cione. On the other hand, T. Bille's play was disheartening. The most dominating Totto player was without a doubt L. Rongen. However, C. Gick made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
