Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
colosseum saw a crowd turnout of 53464.
Darre Esseveld was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

O. Candia got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away.
After 53 minutes of play,
T. Kinnunen equalised for PPP after an elegant attack from the right.
56 minutes into the game,
G. Mocci almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 63 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
T. Kinnunen, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the PPP coach let
A. Malenšek replace
E. Yiannakoglou after 69 minutes.
M. Marjetta left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
V. Pogrebnyak was the replacement.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in PPP's
J. Blok increasing the lead to 3 - 1.
Confident in their lead, PPP's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by PPP, with 58 percent of the ball.
PPP's best player was
T. Kinnunen.
A. Malenšek was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Ricos player was without a doubt
E. Lukey.
G. Mocci turned in a dismal performance, however.
