E. Mettier increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. B. Deparis of Compañeros took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 57 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 6. A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by I. Brockmann. At last, Compañeros's E. Russenberger was able to backheel the ball in. 0 - 7. 65 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 8 as M. Faure finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. A drive down the left side allowed F. Jerg to get in close and score another goal for Compañeros after 69 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 9. With 80 minutes played, E. Mettier nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
