That tied the score up at 1 - 1. Diggy took the lead 27 minutes in, as O. Girlinger-Braier broke through on the left and put the 2 - 1 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. W. Bemmerl made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. Diggy's M. Sossong was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - B. Ladaa managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 3 - 1 after 36 minutes. After this, you could see that the players of Diggy were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Diggy had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

BORUSSIA's W. Bemmerl was able to reply, after 47 minutes, making the score 3 - 2 with a well struck penalty. BORUSSIA's M. Krafft had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 64 minutes having been played. A. Vozila was the replacement. After 71 minutes, Diggy's H. Unnerdörch found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 2. Diggy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

K. Wünsche performed admirably for Diggy. V. Meppen turned in a dismal performance, however. BORUSSIA's best player was C. Kreiensen. On the other hand, N. Kemp-Bischoff's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 2.
