Clouds darkened the skies at Trapdoor as 30998 spectators turned up for the match. Daniel Gau was the appointed referee with assistance provided by David Vegesack and Richard Ó Donnabháin. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Blackliver. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! At 27 minutes played, E. Molina came in from the right with the intention of giving Blackliver the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. They were singing the praises of E. Molina 33 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Blackliver. 35 minutes into the match, B. Ignacy bent a free kick around the home team's defensive formation, leaving the keeper with no chance for a save. Jalkapallo had levelled the scoreline at 1 - 1. Blackliver's R. Galeazzi had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 37 minutes having been played. N. Tänzler was the replacement. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Blackliver enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

K. Tumiel would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. J. Hakamaa entered the game for Jalkapallo as the match clock showed 46 minutes. As the 46 minute mark approached, the Jalkapallo coach decided it was time for a substitution. B. Ignacy reluctantly made way for J. Ruottu on the pitch. With 51 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as T. Kutilainen flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed Jalkapallo's coach gave H. Aso the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Picun reluctantly left the field. With 60 minutes played, N. Tänzler could have brought this one home for Blackliver as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Blackliver coach let E. Boucai replace H. Wittelsbach after 62 minutes. Jalkapallo were close to putting the equaliser away after 70 minutes as the opposing defence lost control of the ball to J. Hakamaa in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. Jalkapallo's H. Heinimö was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - Y. Furuholm managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 2 after 74 minutes. After 75 minutes, the Blackliver coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving K. Vuksanović off the field. R. Clausen took his place. Blackliver's T. Kutilainen got himself booked for a foul. 83 minutes in, Jalkapallo's A. Hänninen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Blackliver were worse off though, as T. Kutilainen was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! After 86 minutes of play, E. Boucai gave the home team a 3 - 2 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Blackliver claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Most important Blackliver player was E. Molina. However, E. Boucai made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Jalkapallo player was without a doubt Y. Furuholm. J. Riekki on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 2.
