Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 56845 at
stade des alcooliques today.
Médéric Roques was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Rainhardt Schlemmer and
Naiden Filipov.
MaLiBu decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
Lineup: Forestier - Baudon, Chénel, Couffin, Lorrain - Robin, Garcia, Duros, Dubreuil - Clapier, Soltani.
Léna tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
They fielded: Mayeux - Louineau, Massy, Marty, Fleury - Humbert, Comet, Ben Ouannes, Lallemand, Gloanec - Demay.
With 28 minutes played,
G. Chénel of MaLiBu fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
MaLiBu fans held their breath as
G. Chénel scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0!

J. Demay calmly took the shot and scored. The game was level at 1 - 1.

The MaLiBu free kick 64 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
M. Lorrain, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 2!
MaLiBu could have put themselves ahead after 75 minutes but
T. Duros missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right.
The guests almost went up by a goal after 80 minutes when
D. Gloanec came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
MaLiBu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
MaLiBu's top performer was clearly
C. Soltani.
G. Chénel on the other hand, had a terrible day.
