Some fine movement on the left led to a drury goal after 41 minutes, making it 0 - 2. A. Zeler was noted down as the scorer. After 41 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed P. Ljungstrand to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. After this, you could see that the players of drury were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Possession was split evenly between the teams.

With the scoreboard showing that 51 minutes had been played, drury nearly put themselves up another goal after I. Babičković came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. T. Jones tried to get a goal back for Ciliau but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. N. van Engh slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

D. Bertrand performed admirably for Ciliau. M. Kirwa on the other hand, had a terrible day. drury's best player was J. Klapper. N. Santiago turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
