With 47 minutes played, A. Duarte nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. RuiMMoura's P. Júnior put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 51 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. The guests took the lead 71 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in A. Duarte scoring to make it 1 - 2. P. Júnior showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 74 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. Valongo had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Most important RuiMMoura player was R. Monteiro. S. Lameira on the other hand, had a terrible day. Valongo's top performer was clearly C. Santos. However, M. Rautia made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 2.
