Today, FUZILEIROS's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. alhandra seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. L. Ferreira Bastos looked great 5 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' M. Düring. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Angeloni got himself booked. The manager of FUZILEIROS was not happy. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for alhandra, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. alhandra had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 12 minutes in when Y. Semenov came up alone against L. Ferreira Bastos who managed a block. alhandra players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. alhandra took the lead 21 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. K. Baerenfaller was the scorer. With 25 minutes played, alhandra put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was C. Barel. Confident in their lead, alhandra's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Halftime score was 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by alhandra, with 55 percent of the ball.

FUZILEIROS's D. Angeloni got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 2. FUZILEIROS's L. Krus left the field after 66 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Matos. After 69 minutes, T. Gentenaar got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. P. Skaarup's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 79 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to C. Barel who knocked it in for alhandra. 1 - 3! FUZILEIROS had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. C. Sinzenich tried to get a goal back for FUZILEIROS but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. alhandra claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

A. Falsone performed admirably for FUZILEIROS. L. Ferreira Bastos turned in a dismal performance, however. alhandra's top performer was clearly K. Baerenfaller. Y. Semenov on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 3.
